So TV presenter Sarah Cawood made essentially the most of her previous few weeks of freedom as she enjoyed an evening out at a London Fashion Week party.

The former Live & Kicking host, 39, looked giddy with excitement as she proudly showed off her sizeable bump at the red carpet.

The redhead looked glowing in a black empire line creation as she joined fellow celebrities on the Jewel Piccadilly bar to mark the re-branding of the Hybrid label.

Cawood, who announced she was expecting last September, is eight months pregnant.

It stands out as the first child for the television star and her fianc� Andy Merry.

When she announced her expectant state, she wrote on her official blog: ‘I’m really excited!!!! i’ve got dreamt of
starting a family for a very long time and i am thrilled that i am getting the
chance. Many girls aren’t so lucky and that i feel very blessed. We both do.’

Cawood’s baby joy comes after she sadly suffered a miscarriage early last year.

Cawood recently admitted she was planning to get married in a green wedding dress when she ties the knot in December.

She wrote: ‘I’m not getting married in any version of white. Why? Mainly as it doesn’t really suit me. And I’d prefer to be different from any other bride within the Western World.

‘So I’ve decided I’d desire to get married in a deep, rich and festive green. (yes, I’ve heard it’s unlucky to marry in green but that’s an old superstition. And i am not superstitious.).

‘There may be no sodding doubt about who the bride within the room could be though: i’ll be the only within the VERY POSH, VERY BIG DRESS.’

For both women it was a gathering which may have provoked the strangest feeling of deja vu.

There at the dais was the Queen. And in front of her, her own mother or rather, Helena Bonham Carter, who played the Queen Mother within the hit film The King’s Speech.

The 45-year-old, who won the proper actress Bafta for her role opposite Colin Firth who played the Queen’s father George VI, was at Buckingham Palace yesterday to gather her CBE.

It is known that the Queen has
seen the film, concerning the king’s battle to beat his speech
impediment, and enjoyed the actress’s portrayal of her late mother.

Miss Bonham Carter is renowned for
her eccentric sort of dress and didn’t disappoint when it came to her
royal encounter, choosing a watch-catching tartan outfit believed to be
by Dame Vivienne Westwood, teamed with super-high heels and a top hat
perched on her trademark bird’s nest hair.

But essentially the most noteworthy aspect of her outfit was, for once, not her clothes or her headwear however the cellphone in her hand.

For while most girls are likely to
accessorise with a classy little handbag, she was clutching a
smartphone encased in a fluorescent pink cover with large bunny ears
protruding from the end.

Miss Bonham Carter was accompanied to
the Palace by her equally wild-haired husband, American film director
Tim Burton, their children Billy Ray, eight, and 4-year-old Nell, and
her mother Elena.

He famously exhibited a taste for older women during his controversial romance with Xtra factor presenter Caroline Flack.

And it appears that evidently thought their relationship has come to an end, the allure of the more mature ladies hasn’t worn off for Harry Styles.

The 18-year-old cuddled up with Ronnie Wood’s ex-wife Jo on the Sony Belvedere  BRITs after party on the Arts Club on Dover Street last night.

The blonde, 56, looked very happy to stand up close and private with the teenage Lothario, holding him round the waist and pouting enthusiastically as he stood together with his hands casually in his pockets.

The pair were clearly getting along like a home on fire, despite the 38 year age gap.

Harry seemed completely comfortable with the location, despite his tender years.

He spared some attention for the opposite guests however, and seemed like he was getting on well with retail entrepreneur Harold Tillman.

The singer was doubtless still basking within the glow of 1 Direction’s win of the fitting British Single award for his or her #1 single What makes You Beautiful.

The boys saw off tough competition from the likes of Adele, Ed Sheeran, Jessie J, Example and the army Wives.

They were clearly delighted with their win, with Louis gushing: We will not believe that we’re stood here in this stage.’

X Factor take over continued in the course of the evening when former winner
Alexandra Burke arrived and was seen catching up with the mischievous
Niall Horan.

But they weren’t the best X Factor stars making their presence felt.

Xtra
factor presenter Caroline Flack caused controversy last year when she
started dating One Direction singer Harry, who was then just 17.

However, the pair split last month with Harry confirming the ‘mutual’ break-up on his Twitter page.

it sort of feels Caroline Flack has moved on quickly from the connection,

The 32-year-old presenter shared a shot showing her cuddling as much as a stunning white little dog.

And as though to hammer home the purpose
that she is moving on from her toy boy love, Caroline got rather
friendly with Nick Grimshaw and Jordan ‘Rizzle’ Stephens at the back of
their cab after the show.

‘Kourtney hoped for a woman,’ an insider told America’s Life & Style on the time.

‘She loves having a boy but thinks having a woman will be perfect
so she will dress her up and show her the ropes in life.’

Disick previously told the magazine: ‘A girl could be a great addition to our family.’

The couple also are the fogeys of 2-year-old son Mason Dash, who was born in December 2009.

Upon announcing her second pregnancy,
