Cher Lloyd takes tips from Jessie J in purple catsuit, with diva Christian Louboutin gold spikes
Celebrities have a knack for smiling within the face of adversity.
And Cher Lloyd put her recent squabbles with Cheryl Cole behind her as she partied on the BRITs.
The former X Factor star graced the red carpet last night at London’s O2 looking every inch the diva.

Appearing to have taken fashion tips
from Jessie J, the Swagger Jagger singer slipped right into a rather garish
sparkly purple jumpsuit – but somehow managed to tug it off rather
charmingly.
There was lashings of black eyeliner
to offer her a rock chick edge, but a couple of killer zebra striped Christian Louboutin Asteroid Spike heels
with gold toe caps to raise her into fashion icon status.
Swagger Jagger: Cher shrugs off her recent bickering with former mentor Cheryl Cole
With her hair scraped off her face,
the Malvern teenager posed together with her hand on her hip, showing off her
music clef tattoo and a hoop on her wedding finger believed to be an
engagement ring.
The 18-year-old songbird, usually
joined on the hip with hairdresser boyfriend Craig Monk, is thought to
have said ‘yes’ after he proposed during a vacation to La last
November.
A source told The Sun last month:
‘Cher’s been telling anyone who will listen that she’s engaged to Craig,
despite originally denying the inside track.
Copycat? Cher seems to have taken inspiration from catsuit queen Jessie J
‘She’s head over heels and have been sporting an engagement ring since last month.’
Cher’s recent run-in with Cheryl came after a slightly vitriolic accusation that the women Aloud singer is incapable of singing live without assistance from autotune.
However, after the Geordie retaliated with a slightly poignant tweet, notably ‘unappreciation is ugly’, Cher backtracked and apologised claiming she were tormented by ‘word vomit’.
