Fergie squeezes right into a bondage-esque leather dress to celebrate her band mate’s birthday

She’s known for wearing some unusual costumes on stage. So Fergie’s latest selection of attire came as no surprise.

The 36-year-old singer arrived at a birthday celebration wearing a black leather bondage-style dress.

Fergie was on the Conga Room in L. a. to celebrate her Black Eyed Peas band mate, apl.de.ap’s 37th birthday.

The blonde star arrived at the arm of her husband, Josh Duhamel, but he soon let her take to the red carpet on her own where she could pose in her skintight dress.

Showing off her cleavage, the black ensemble was complete with studs and many tassels, or even included criss cross lace-up detail on the back.

Fergie teamed her leather dress with a couple of straightforward black heels and carried a glitzy clutch bag.

Her actor husband tried to compare her within the style stakes by wearing a black leather jacket, but he didn’t look anywhere near as dressed up as he paired it with a shirt, grey jeans and worn shoes.

But the couple gave the impression of they were greatly enjoying themselves as they mingled with other guests and posed for a photograph with the birthday boy himself.

apl.de.ap and his band mates, Fergie and Taboo, even took to the stage to offer a different performance but will.i.am was nowhere to be seen.

apl.de.ap and Taboo both played it safe in all black outfits with the birthday boy choosing a wise blazer, skinny jeans and boots.

He frolicked posing for photos along with his guests which included singer JoJo and young group WeTheFutur3.

The brunette singer wore an easy black dress that was complete with a pretend fur shoulder.

She wore a couple of nude stilettos together with her outfit as she posed at the red carpet.

WeTheFutur3 appeared like an identical trio as they played as much as the cameras of their geeky glasses and baseball jackets.

The birthday celebrations coincided with the launch of Charity Dreams and apl.de.ap’s charity organisation campaign, We will be able to Be Anything.

The event raised over $350,000 for with an anonymous person donating $100,000 alone.

apl.de.ap plans to exploit the cash to construct 10,000 classrooms in his native, the Philippines.

Speaking about her band mate, Fergie had nothing but kind words to mention about him and at one point became teary-eyed.

‘I mean, who gets adopted at 14 years old to come back to America and what he became with all his obstacles – learning to communicate the language, his astigmatism in his eyes,’ she said.

‘It’s this sort of touching story.’
