Guy Ritchie ‘doesn’t regret soap opera’ marriage to Madonna
Being the fabric Girl’s husband won’t was easy for Guy Ritchie, but he doesn’t regret his relationship with Madonna.
After three years of virtual silence, the 43-year-old director has finally spread out about his marriage to the Queen of dad.
‘I enjoyed my first marriage. It’s definitely not something I regret,’ Ritchie says within the new issue of Details magazine.

Although he clarifies that he experience was worthwhile because two of his children, biological son Rocco, 11, and adopted son David, 6, came out of it, he’s not entirely convincing.
‘The experience was ultimately very positive. i admire the youngsters that came out of it, and that i could see no other path to take. But you progress on, don’t you?’
He expands on why his marriage to the 53-year-old singer didn’t workout.

‘I stepped right into a soap opera, and that i lived in it for quite a very long time. I’ll probably be more eloquent on it ten years from now,’ he says.
At the tip of the day, the Sherlock Holmes director says he learned a great deal from Madonna.
‘When you find yourself with many of the belongings you got down to chase and find that you have stumbled into every kind of hollow victories, then you definately become deeply philosophical,’ he said.

He added: ‘I’m quite happy that that have was accelerated for me. I’m glad I made money, in other words. And i am glad I got married.’
He wed the superstar in a lavish 2000 ceremony at Skibo Castle in Scotland.
They announced their split in October of 2008; the divorce was finalised in January 2009.
The two have since moved on with other partners and every has a brand new child.

The director and his new model girlfriend, Jacqui Ainsley, welcomed a child boy in September.
Madonna is seeing toyboy Brahim Zaibat, who, at 24, is lower than half her age.
Since splitting from her second husband – she was previously married to Sean Penn – Madonna adopted daughter Mercy James from Malawi in June 2009.
She can be the mummy of 15-year-old Lourdes Leon, her daughter with Cuban personal trainer Carlos Leon.
