Kerry Katona gushes about her new love… but says this time she’s taking your time

But while Kerry Katona is asking forward to a few mistletoe action with artist Steve Alce, she is planning on taking this relationship slowly.

The unlucky-in-love reality TV star, 31, have been dating Alce, 33, for just about a month when they met at a charity event.

And she said although she is admittedly pleased with him, she doesn’t are looking to ‘jinx it’ by talking an excessive amount of about it.

Speaking to Closer magazine, she said: ‘I’m very pleased with Steve. I don’t are looking to jinx everything so I don’t would like to
say an excessive amount of, but he’s made me realise that i will move on from my
destructive previous relationships and just enjoy myself.

‘I needed to kiss a
lot of frogs before I found my prince! He’ll be the one I’m snogging
under the mistletoe this year. I’m an old-fashioned girl deep down I’d
love to get married again and have two more children.’

And Kerry said she has yet to tell her four children – Molly, 10 and Lilly-Sue, eight, from her marriage to Brian McFadden and Heidi, four, and three-year-old Max from her marriage to Mark Croft – about Steve.

She said: ‘A few weeks ago,
Molly said to me, “Mum, when are you going to get a new boyfriend? We
want you to be happy!”

‘And then Lilly frowned and added, “Don’t keep it a
secret if you already have one!”‘

Kerry also spoke about getting over the past two turbulent years and how her life has taken a turn for the better since she divorced her second husband Mark Croft and cleared her debts.

She has also been clean of cocaine for two years and she said: ‘I’m a new woman and I feel fantastic. I’d
never touch drugs again in a million years I can barely handle a
drink these days!

‘Kicking drugs has given me the time to really bond
with my kids and I love it. I work 24/7 to make sure they have
opportunities I never had and I’ve paid my way out of bankruptcy.’

She now lives in Surrey having moved away from her demons and her home town of Warrington to make a fresh start, and she said she intends to keep it that way.

She said: ‘I’ve left behind all the bad influences in my life and I’ve
shoved enough sh*t up my nose to last several lifetimes. I love
Warrington and I’m really proud of my roots, but I feel I’ve outgrown
it.’

And she said she is really looking forward to getting festive in a couple of weeks time.

Kerry explained: ‘I can’t wait for Christmas this year –
Mark’s got Heidi and Max on Christmas Day, so I’ll be celebrating at
home with Molly, Lilly and my mum, Sue.

‘Mum will have to cook the turkey
though, because everything I touch in the kitchen turns into a
disaster! With four kids, I’ve got a number of Christmas shopping to do
the whole house will be bulging with toys’
