Lily Allen baby: Singer gives birth to little girl with Sam Cooper 1 year after miscarriage

Lily Cooper last night gave birth to somewhat girl.

The pop star had her longed for first child inside the early evening on Friday.

And it comes only a year after the 26-year-old tragically had a miscarriage when she was six months pregnant.

Lily Cooper had last displayed her baby bump at Halloween, where she tweeted: ‘Me, bump and pumpkin, i did it last night during x-factor.’

It was not known last night if her husband Sam Cooper – who she married in June – was together with her on the birth.

However, last night a detailed friend admitted the birth were ‘all good.’

A spokesman, though, declined to comment.

Her DJ, close friend and previous boyfriend Seb Chew last night Tweeted: ‘sending out like to lily, sam and mini cooper……YES.’

The singer told fans on Twitter in October she had begun to be afflicted by Braxton Hicks false labour pains which might begin as many as six weeks before the due date.

During a newspaper interview in September Lily said her mum, film producer Alison Owen was eager to know the sex of her grandchild-to-be: ‘It’s between me and my husband. She thinks she knows what it’s and whenever she calls me she refers back to the baby as Betty.’

The birth is especially poignant for the couple who’ve suffered miscarriage pain prior to now.

Last November the retired singer was rushed to hospital with a suspected viral infection and later lost a toddler boy at six months.
