With the sun blazing down on his back while his family and friends back home shiver within the freezing cold, it’s no wonder Sid Owen can’t wipe the grin off his face.

Then again, that will have something to do together with his sexy semi-naked fiancée who can’t keep her hands off him.

The EastEnders actor, 39, looked mighty proud of himself as Polly Parsons, 27, showed off her stunning figure in a cutaway swimsuit on board the yacht in Dubai.

Ironically, Sid’s character within the
soap, Ricky Butcher, has recently returned to Albert Square after a piece
stint within the United Arab Emirate.

But in real life, it was sun, sea and pure relaxation for the actor and his betrothed as they made the foremost of the winter sun.

Sid and Polly, who met in 2006 once they starred in panto together, announced their engagement in August last year.

Sid revealed that he proposed on holiday in Barbados last February.

In an interview with OK! magazine he explained: ‘There was a raft out at sea which we’d swim out to.

‘I
did not have a hoop so I got this guy at the beach to make one out of
beads inside the reggae colours, as i really like my reggae, and that i put that during my
back pocket and we swam accessible and that i proposed.’

‘It was really romantic,’ Polly added.

But
their relationship has not been without its ups and downs and in 2008,
the couple were photographed fighting on the street outside Essex

after it was claimed a feminine fan shouted ‘Rickay’ at him.

‘Rickay’ is the catchphrase of Sid’s on-screen partner Bianca Butcher, played by Patsy Palmer.

Sid, who turns 40 next month, returned from his holiday last week and straight back to work.
